Simulaids 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Degree Burn models are specialized simulators designed to provide realistic training for the assessment and treatment of burn injuries. These models are crafted with detailed, lifelike textures to represent the different severity levels of burns:
1st Degree Burn: This model simulates superficial burns affecting only the outer layer of skin (epidermis). It features red, inflamed skin that is warm to the touch, representing symptoms such as pain and minor swelling. Trainees can practice identifying the signs of a first-degree burn and applying appropriate treatments, such as cooling the burn and using topical medications.
2nd Degree Burn: This model depicts partial-thickness burns that extend into the deeper layers of the skin (dermis). It includes blisters, red and splotchy areas, and a wet or moist appearance, reflecting the more severe damage and pain associated with second-degree burns. Users can practice more advanced care techniques, including wound cleaning, dressing, and assessing for potential infection.
3rd Degree Burn: This model represents full-thickness burns that affect all layers of the skin and potentially underlying tissues. It features charred, leathery, and non-painful areas, mimicking the destruction of nerve endings and the need for complex medical intervention. Trainees can learn about the critical aspects of managing third-degree burns, including fluid resuscitation, surgical interventions, and long-term care considerations.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. MediTac is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 7 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@meditackits.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@meditackits.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
