This is a good set of large trauma pads, but you might want to have a hand for emergencies or keeping in your bug out bag. They are pretty large, and they do seem to do a good job of absorbing and keeping the wound protected. Definitely a great thing to have on hand in case of emergencies.

Really great trauma pads. Stocked up hoping to use them for training but had an unfortunate accident. Ripped one of these open and was pleasantly surprise how well they worked at retaining messes.I was please by how big they were too so they were able to do their job effectively when keeping an area clean. Definitely will get more.

I hope you never need it, but if you do- it’s great to have in hand. It’s super absorbent and very large.

This is a good trauma dressing. Former paramedic I use this to help teach first aid. I would without a doubt use this in the field. Lot more absorbing than regular flat trauma pads. It’s good for the field or classroom. Very nice

Got these for my emergency kit. Have not had to use them yet, but they seem decent quality and well made. They are a useful size and would cover a variety of situations. Once I need to use them I will try to update my review.

My mom came to stay with us after a major gastro surgery and she had a 9"-10" wound vertically on her abdomen, it was not easy to find dressings that would cover this and provide enough protection. We used these folded in half and they were plenty big enough. We'd use them any time she had to go back for follow up appointments because all of the moving around and bending would cause excess bleeding from the wound. These things are really massive, but they worked very well for my use-case!

Hopefully you're clear when you're looking at these that these are huge. These are 12 x 30" which covers a lot of space. While we do have these for our normal first aid kits which I should say are normal for us not probably most people because we live more than an hours drive at fast speeds from any hospital or serious medical intervention which means our kits are a lot more extensive than most people and we do training to be better prepared if we have to use them. All that said one of the main reasons I have these is not for human use it's for our livestock. These are actually a great size coupled with some non-adhesive bandaging for when we have had to dress one of our animals because of an injury. Since we tend to go for things that are multi functional so that we can get a better span of use out of them this is perfect for us we try to find sterile dressing among other medical products that is safe for us and safe for the animals. This is both. It's a big big box that you're getting for $100 but considering how often you have to change dressings it's a really good price if you have the space to keep this much on hand.

Works well and is a good size

These extremely large pads would be good for either a large wound or someone with multiple wounds in an area. They come in sterile packaging.
