LATEX FREE 4-VENT DESIGN - Vented Chest seals should be used when an open chest injury occurs. Chest seals work by closing the chest wall opening to keep collapsed lungs inflated. The 4-vent design is self-regulating to allow for the release of accumulated air or evacuation of blood, and is effective in preventing the re-entry of air and debris through the open chest wound.
LARGE RED TAB-ONE STEP APPLICATION – Simply hold the seal by the red tab, peel away the protective plastic film and apply over the open wound for fast and effective results. Each seal is approximately 6.6” square and has a large 1.25” tab for easy application and removal.
MEDICAL GRADE HYDROGEL ADHESIVE - Creates a superior lasting seal, even in extreme cold and heat. The chest seal has transparent backing to allow for placement directly over the wound and easily conform to the patient’s chest. The adhesive ensures a strong seal even when blood, sweat, hair, sand and water are present. Clean and dry the area around the wound as much as possible before applying the chest seal.
INDIVIDUAL FOIL POUCH WITH QUICK TEAR SEAL – Each chest seal comes in a lightweight, vacuum sealed, puncture resistant package, with our Quick Tear seal, allowing for fast and easy access.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

I've got a couple emergency packs around the house and cars and work. Most of the general packages don't come with more advanced supplies like a chest seal so this was a nice chance to customize with this bulk item. I have not had to use it in an emergency test yet, but am happy to add this to my supplies. I will add that in most cases it doesn't matter what you have if you don't know where it's at or how to use it, so I'd advise folks to practice and be aware of where things are located. It's crazy how often that comes up simply when one of my kiddos scrapes a knee and we start scrambling for bandaids and disinfectant. Otherwise I'd say it's reasonably priced for a 3 pack at $21.95 and a great deal.

There are extreme items every first aid kit could have in my novice opinion . Having an item readily available could save someone's life. Ensure you have the right to purchase and if necessary are certified in the use according to your state's laws.

Chest seals are something everyone should have in there ifak and these seem to be good ones. The price of these makes them a good value if building a med kit on a budget.

I haven't yet come across someone with a sucking chest wound where I would need to slap one of these on. We don't get much combat here in the Midwest, but I rest easier knowing that if I do happen to be nearby when someone gets shot or stabbed and needs a vented chest seal from a non-professional, I'll have one on hand. Better to be prepared and not use it than you not have it when you need it.

These seals are great. The packet opens easily, and the seal is covered in a gooey adhesive that will adhere through even very thick body hair. The ventilating part of the plastic sunk in to the skin appropriately, and will definitely work as a venting chest seal.I highly recommend this product. I ordered these February 2022, the packets I received are marked as being manufactured in June 2021, and will expire June 2026.
