These small convenient 3g packets are a way to add lubricating jelly to a first-aid kit, backpack or luggage. The packets don't leak but are easy to tear open when needed making them ideal for on the go kits that are going to get tossed around. The lubricant has a the consistency of a thin jelly and is very slippery while cleaning up easily with water. Seems like good stuff.

It feels siliconey based? But it doesn't really tell you on the package. Either way it's exactly what you'd want in a lubricant. It's thicker, yes. But it lasts for awhile and also easily washes away. You get a ton in the package, as well. They also are easy to keep with you in smaller places for emergency needs. So whatever you need this for, it should work. Would recommend!

This is the perfect solution for equine first aid kits. Taking a horse's temperature is not a pleasant experience for the horse or the owner. A good lubricant is an essential part of making the task go more smoothly. Carrying a full tube of lubricant is messy and takes up a lot of space. Some owners put lubricant in the thermometer case, but this is messy and becomes unsanitary. These single use packets are the perfect solution. The thermometer fits into the packet and the packet can be disposed of when done. It's never a great situation when you have to pull out your first aid kit, so anything that makes the process easier and more efficient is A+++. I have shared this product with other horse owners who also love it.

My emergency first aid kit did not have any lubricant. I saw these small packets of lubricant on Amazon and decided to buy them. They came in a clear plastic bag that can easily be opened, remove a few packets, and then reclose. I will probably keep some in the house for use as needed, but the rest will go in the emergency go-bag kit in the car.
