The Ever Ready First Aid aluminum splint is suitable for splinting all extremities. Made of lightweight and malleable foam padded aluminum, it is soft and adaptable. The splint becomes rigid and supportive for fractured or injured limbs by shaping it into a simple C, W or T- shaped curve. Can be cut with ordinary household scissors to fit any size.

SUPPORT AND STRENGTH - Treat injured and fractured limbs with this lightweight and flexible splint.
CONVENIENT SIZE - Rolled splints are much easier to store and transport. The unrolled split measures 36" x 4.25", but when rolled up it takes up significantly less space, therefore it can be easily stored in backpacks, first aid kits, or vehicles.
SUPERIOR ALUMINUM INTERIOR - The aluminum core housed between the outer foam shell is substantially lighter and more flexible than other plaster or fiberglass splints. It is also radiolucent, allowing X-rays to be performed without having to remove the splint.
WEATHERPROOF & REUSABLE - Perfect for all conditions and environments, and easy to clean and reuse.
EASY TO CUT & SHAPE - The splint is easy to cut with shears or scissors for use on smaller body parts or to fit tricky injuries

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Part of a larger medical kit, I've used both and had to re-order more. Occasionally these are needed on hikes or family vacations. Perfect for the use, and cheap enough I'm not worried about cutting them or re-using them.

I cut this into 3 smaller, forearm-length splints, 1 for my mountain biking camelback/backpacking first aid kit, 1 in the trunk of my car, and 1 for home.I practiced molding one to my forearm, and it was surprisingly stiff and comfortable. It just needed an Ace bandage or some kind of tape or something to make it a functional splint.

For the cost and weight there is no reason not to have two of these in your pack or first aid kit.

I bought the cheaper version because it appeared to look pretty much the same as the name brand. I am happy with it. Cuts easily and is sturdy enough; first use to protect jambed thumb from further damage,I cut it to fit closed about 2/3, then taped it together with a porous surgical tape. Wish I had it when I broke my wrist for the trip to the hosptal to have it set.

I little smaller than I thought they would be, but still a good size for most applications, especially for the price

I am not a medical person, but I I got this to have on hand after my toddler broke her arm I realized this would have been way better than the flat sticks I used. I have heard it is a great item to keep in your emergency kit. Thanks!
