Got this for our emergency kit.Package came quickly which I appreciate.

I love this product. I'm often burning myself cooking, so I use a small piece of this product on the burns. It soothes the burns better than anything else I've tried. Once I cut a small piece off, I put the mask in a bag and vacuum out the air. It's good as new the next time I need it. I'd give this ten stars if I could.

I didn't open the bag with the mask in it but you can tell that it is high quality. I hope that I never have to use this, and if there are burns on smaller parts of the body, you can cut it up to use it there. You should have this in your medical kit or go-bag since there aren't many other things that will help with burn trauma.

I like having this around just in case of emergency! When it arrived, I was impressed by the size and and the good packaging! The product seems like good quality although I have not actually had to use it yet!

If a severe burn accident were to occur it’s nice to have this mask in your emergency first aid kit. A great medical supply item, place this mask on the burned area while seeking medical care might just save your life and prevent further burn. Has hydrogel which is a good feature of this mask.

I hope and pray I never have a reason to open this package, but I feel a sense of relief knowing it is available if I ever need it. It is huge and could easily be used on other parts of the body. The only reason it is designated as specifically a face mask is because of the holes for the eyes, nose, and mouth.One thing to keep in mind is that this is supposed to be kept out of extreme temperatures, which means I won’t be keeping it in my car first-aid kit. This will be staying in our home trauma kit and I think everyone should have products like this on hand. As one of my doctors says, “It’s when you aren’t prepared for it that things go wrong.” =)

This is an excellent addition to my first-aid kit. The dressing is very large and is designed for a burn affecting the face (it has openings for eyes, nose & mouth), but in case of an emergency can be applied to any part of the body. The instructions are minimal and anyone can follow them -- essentially, they are: open, remove, apply. It can be applied to any type of burn so it can be placed as quickly as possible to help limit further damage to skin without worrying that I am inadvertently making the injury worse. The dressing is designed to immediately halt the burn process and provide some cooling relief without sticking. The package is marked as sterile (the sterilization method is radiation) and the expiration date is 07/2026. Despite the size of the dressing (24" X 16" and the weight gel/fluid, the package is not too heavy and not too bulky so it can fit easily into my kit. The package seems quite sturdy so the contents are well protected until needed (hopefully this will never be needed). It is easy to open with a tab in each upper corner. The current price of $35.95 seems very reasonable and I am very happy to have this in my emergency kit.

This is one of those products you hope you'll never, ever need to use - however, it will be priceless should you ever need it! A bit expensive, but if you own a pressure cooker or deep fat fryer (or turkey fryer) having large hydrogel burn shields on hand just makes sense. And you never know when a neighbor may come knocking...This will work for any sized burn - but is made for large areas, and specifically for the face, as it has the holes for the eyes, nose and mouth - but it will cover and work for any burn.Keeping several different sized hydrogel burn shields and hydrogel spray in your first aid (emergency) kit is well worth the investment. Having small ones for everyday type burns while cooking is nice, as they do work to pull the heat out of the burn.
