The North American Rescue Hyfin Chest Seal is a circumferential occlusive dressing for use in the management of casualties with penetrating chest wounds. The Hyfin uses the latest specialized adhesive technology for a superior seal in the most adverse of conditions. The Hyfin chest seal is supplied in a rugged, easy to open package that allows for quick and effective application in extreme environments. Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Our MediTAC kits at my sportsman's club had these in them, however upon kit inspection it was found to be expired. We use these very units in my FD EMS equipment we get from our medical supply company. The kits originally came with one chest seal, so I added a second one in case of an exit wound that would also need sealing. Good things to have at the ready at a shooting range.

Just like AED pads, EPI pens, and all other trauma equipment that expires... I prefer to replace them if expired, not because they were needed.

First, I want to thank all of our first responders and men and women who put foot to ass! This piece goes in your trauma kit, and if you are a civilian, you pray that you never have to use it!Donâ€™t get caught with your pants down, keep it, and carry it.

Iâ€™ve (unfortunately) used 9 of these in the passed 6 months. These are some of the best chest seals on the market and at a decent price. I specifically like this model over the vented model because this model you can easily open, wipe the blood away and slap on with no issue. Adhesion is good enough and the size is perfect. Great, life saving product. Highly recommend.
