Dynarex Sterile Non Adherent Pads 3" X 4", Box of 100

My elderly dog has grown masses on the outside of his body. One that he scratches till it bleeds a lot. She said in lieu of risky surgery due to his age the only option is to put hydrocortisone cream on gauze and wrap with an ace bandage changed daily but let it breathe every day for a few hours before redressing it. Gauze failed miserably bc it would stick causing the mass to bleed each time we removed it.So, we bought these non adhesive pads and they worked great! Large enough so if it shifts the mass is still covered. I also put a velcro jacket on top of him to further resist his scratching. The quantity is great since we change it daily. Would recommend!

All is good. The box arrived a little worse for wear, but the contents are still sterile and in great shape. Good price.

I like the product...this is my third order ~ there will be more...they protect the wound...they even work as pressure on a bleeder...(a small blood vessel that is bleeding )...you can use 2 or 3 over a smaller wound with some drainage...I have had to start using a sterile gauze between 2 non-adherent pads...that works even better...then I use 2 x 4's to hold everything in place......although they are thin they do absorb drainage...and the price makes them quite a blessing ....one thing to note...the box they are placed in is NOT tall enough....I think every box I have received has been damaged...not any of the gauze have been damaged but the boxes are either torn or crushed...they are not strong boxes to begin with....and are overpacked....these last three boxes were sent in an Amazon envelope ...so less protection too......I can live with that...I doubt anyone can get the company in China to fix this problem.....hope they work for you too.

Happy to have found these in Amazon during Covid times. Difficult to find around and came handy after surgery .

I am my dad's caregiver and getting supplies covered from his insurance company is no picnic, so alot of the time so I buy his necessary supplies. I was paying $5.00 for 10 non stick gauze pads at the stores (that was the cheapest), which would last about a day or 2. I was so happy to see that these pads were at such a low price and for so many!! So I bought a box of this size and a box of another size. I was a little leary, thinking "why are they so cheap?". WOW..THESE ARE THE BEST NON-STICK GAUZE PADS!!! They are so absorbent, thick, doesnt stick to the skin or wound at all, and protects!! AMAZING!! I know it might seem weird to go on about gauze pads, but when your trying to make your elderly parent as comfortable as possible as you provide them care, every little detail matters. He has a nurse that stops by once a week to check up on him and I made sure to tell her so that she can tell all her patients who may need these supplies too. What a great and honest company to sell a good quality product at a very affordable price. Thank You!!

They are bigger than I wanted but that was my fault in selection. They are VERY THIN but as my wound is smaller, I fold them into a square and use surgical paper tape to make thicker making it work for my use. I use it for a none healing ulcer. It absorbs ok folded & keeps the wound dry with the none stick covering which is what I like the most. OK value for the money. But really for very shallow wounds that do not drain a lot.I personally won't buy again due to the thinness.
